Chashinai railways explanation

The Chashinai route set is not placed in BVE JAPAN route selection because the author is from Europe. Although, with high quality charachteristics it deserves to be on the list.

Chashinai Railways for openBVE

Many old BVE fans surely remember Chashinai Railways made by  Jens Ruegenhagen. Soon after release, the project stopped, but few days ago Jens opened new site with completely remade add-ons, this time for openBVE only. It is example how non-japanese authior can make Japanese add-ons. That's how I started Garden line.

openBVE advantage

OpenBVE  is much more precise than BVE so I am going to use Route Viewer for route developing. Since I am not going to put any openBVE special commands, route will be possible to run in BVE2, BVE4 and openBVE.

Is openBVE user friendly?

It is hard to answer...playing itself maybe is (if we ignore cab-view which is not so good as in BVE2/4) but trying to develop something for openBVE is quite challenge.

Of course, program is still in developing (although ver 1.0 should be enough) but even now is clear that syntax is very complicated. The author of openBVE has power to create superb program but no skills to adjust it to developers which are not computer programmers. I would say that author doesn't have even will to do that. At the end, seems that much efforts has to be put in just understanding syntax than pure add-on producing.  And even now BVE production is very demanding and time consuming (presuming that you want some decent quality of the add-on).

Present version of openBVE (1.0.5.0) doesn't offer any light in this matter. : -(
